SFX film and Mamiya C330S

You may recall I forgot to set the ASA on the light meter with this SFX film. The developer managed to salvage something. What do you think?

From Cramond Bridge:

And a lady who owns stables for small horses - don't know the breed. This shot is cropped. I couldn't get closer, unfortunately. She was impressed with the old camera, saying her husband gave up photography when digital appeared. It was news to her that film is still available. I suggested she tell her husband...

I like these images a lot, Rob. Did you use a filter on them? The top one in particular looks like its filtered (the shade of the leaves suggests this to me.)

Brian, I just used a bit of the anti noise Nik Dfine, just to clean it up a bit. I can't remember needing to do any darkening, but maybe I did. Actually, now that I think about it, I did look at the histogram for Levels, and pulled the bass, sorry, dark tones, to meet the start of the histogram, and likewise the treble, or light tones. I always see it in terms of bass and treble...so, I increased the blacks and also the whites, but only a wee bit.

I thought this film would be a bit wilder, maybe too wild, but I quite like it. Can't wait to use it again with the proper ASA setting!

Just got back from Dundee. I think most of them turned out reasonably well. I've since taken a roll of this film at the correct ASA, so we shall see what the difference is.
