One thing I like about this forum is the friendly atmosphere. If you count us, we are few, so we can talk to each other and share personal details of our lives. It is probably an illusion, it all seems to take place in the real world and yet it does not happen here and now, it does not happen in presence, and perhaps at the end of the day we do not know who we are talking to at all. But despite this paradox I am willing to trust this forum to a greater extent than other virtual zones of our interconnected world. Indeed, I am sometimes eager to break through the digital barrier, and try to communicate myself bypassing the space and time of the web.
Sometimes a simple self-portrait crumbles barriers.
You are so right Gianluca. We are a nice bunch here and I for one feel more at home here than at any other forum. It also as I see it, so refreshingly good to be able to befriend each other way differently than one can on forums with thousands of members. Why grow big and large while you are happy being as we are. Now my expression shows seriousness and seriously speaking I am We are possibly a strange family of real photographers where sense of humour is one vital ingrediens as well as caring. Hopefully we may extend more information regarding who we are, instead of being sharp as a fiddle.
I’ve heard some very flat fiddles in my time, but this is an excellent, even brave, self portrait. Your eyes are different, one showing seriousness, the other gentleness, both of which are qualities on show in the commentary to this entire thread.

All of the above is so true. I find myself looking for a way to express a double Hugo.
However, this is news to me about fiddles. I shall have to remember to handle them more carefully in the future.
