Thanks all, I did shoot one of them over the hedge but preferred the hedge to be in shot to give a sense of distance given the mist..

I agree, the hedge gives a nice framing element and provides contrast with its texture.

Oooohh... really lovely! I love the subtle tones too and the wonderful way the colours change. Normally I would think it was a shame about the pylon and wires, but they add an interesting touch of definition

Yes Lesley the pole and wires area pain and ideally I would rather they weren't there but sadly I wouldn't be able to post the pic if they weren't

I think had the mist been less dense in the distance and the tree line showing through a bit more then I would say 'Wish the pole wasn't there' but like you say it adds depth and interest..
