Nice action portrait, Ivar.

How do you like the OM D 10? (My daughter bought one for her husband just before they got married. They're still on their honeymoon and so I don't have any reports on it yet.)

Thank you Brian. As mentioned before, I have found love in this little camera. It has all it takes or that anyone needs. Quick, responsive and even the little kit lens is a marvel. If anyone wants follow focus, well then it lags behind a bit, but apart from that, it can do what a Leica can do, in the right hands! Did you see that Olympus:D

We live by a huge river Julian and up above a bit, close to its outlet and the ocean. Therefore we have no trouble as the house is built on solid mountain where drainage is very good. On the other hand, up stream they have problems, even newer establishments whose calculations have been quite diasterous! Where other rivers, lakes and valleys are flooded. I'll show you all some samples after I come back to the flatlands from climbing heights of 2000 meters and so. Now I'm halfway down and I assume it shall take som days to get back down, as branches, brushes, trees and certain boulders has to be removed by my bare hands and my axe from my scouting days! Appreciate your concern!

Yes glad too see you flex those muscle big man and make a road through for everyone too use.
I have on occasions taken note locally, where outsiders with their calculators somehow determine what nature will do next with the lay of the land , with the ensuing consequences which have been very negative. Yet if they had taken five minutes to ask the local people who lived there, how the weather and run off works and how they and their past fore bearers had dealt with the situation for the last 200 years, it would have saved a lot of anguish for many.

As well as money I'd say! You are so right, I just wish I knew all this so much more when I was younger, a few days ago. Well as skidding down the mountain side as fast as I can, I may be in time to pick up my Canadian family at the airport tomorrow. I'll be teasing them for a week and I look forward to it. I am prepared to take my licks afterwards. :D
