I think I've seen this image from you before, Nihat, or something similar. The yellow texture looks familiar. Very beautiful, and I do love this link with poetry.

Thank you very much, Rob. I posted it on Facebook when I briefly had an account, and you liked it.
I remember making this photograph in 1995, was printed in limited edition on Cibachrome (a.k.a. Ilfachrome) by a custom lab in San Francisco on 9th Street.
I was told that I had been influenced by Georgia O'Keefe. Interestingly, I did not know her then.
I believe the influences are the whirling dervishes and also Aikido I was practicing at the time.
Aikido is known to be a martial art (a.k.a self-defense), yet it has strong spiritual content derived from eastern philosophies.

Gorgeous golden hue and that intimate cluster at the centre. Superb again Nihat and, as Rob says, so much more with the poems associated them.
