Nice sequence Rob although I think the proportions, positioning and balance of the last is the most satisfying. What is the grid on the first? Some sort of processing artefact?
Yes, I saw that grid, but I quite like it. I might return to this space, though, as I feel I never got the shot I was looking for, although the last does come close.
I go with Tom here albeit the 3rd is also a good one. In the first I feel there is something lacking, but that's what disapeared in the next two. So no complaints
I too like the second one, but my brain screams "NO!" due to the non-straight lines.... For some reason, I have a real anality (is there such a word?) about such things....
That is the problem here. It's pretty much impossible to get every line "just so". It would indeed drive you crazy trying to do so, both before the shot and afterwards photoshop. Ah well...

I imagine so Rob... it's my brain that does all the hard work... I sit and alter picture frames at home, and then find they're 2mm out! It drives me nuts sometimes!
