Spring is Officially Here (Tomorrow)

Naught wrong with a bit of frollicking! The paint markings are for sorting. H is for Hot Pot, A for apple and lamb sausage. Not sure what the other mark is, maybe a T for tagine but the lamb escaped mid marking so to speak :p.

cheers folks, yes these young lambs are really playful bouncing and jumping all over the field like in photo 2 i caught the lamb in the air.....in the last photo the lamb on top of the ewe was not even hers, she soon kicked it off hahaha

the markings are so the farmer know which lambs belong to which ewe :-) generally by shapes, colour, letters numbers or symbols

ah, thanks for the explanation. is there a reason why they need to know who belongs to who? this isn't something that's done around here. a working farm around here probably consists of 3 chicken houses (with several thousand chicks), a horse or two and maybe a couple of sheep or a pig. or it's a dairy farm and all they have are cows.

Oh Hamish, now you hav eme wondering what you had to edit out to stop offending any Welsh members LOL but I have a fair idea what you might have done hehehe.;)
