Strange Way To Eat A Sandwich

Brian how you manage to capture the moment and compose so well (I don't think you hardly ever crop do you) on a small film compact I'll never know.
Very kind of you to say, Paul. Its often pure luck. Believe me, I have many images I wouldn't post. (And I'm sure a few I posted that I shouldn't have.)

When I first joined RPF I hardly ever cropped an image. In fact, I recall mentioning once in response to a question on a post here that I had recently modified an image and had "also cropped one last year." This got a rise out of Hamish and I then realized that my reluctance to crop was perhaps less common than I thought.

Although I still seldom crop an image, I am actually doing so more now than I used to. I'm also doing a little post-processing such as dust removal (I have a general hatred of the dust police, and although RPF's dust policeman is something of a kindly old sole relative to his brethren [I don't want to name names, but you know who you are!] I'd still prefer not to be collared) and horizon straightening (I find the horizon police just as despicable as the dust police generally, although RPF's horizon policeman also seems a relatively kindly old sole not unlike his counterpart in the Dust Division. Again, I won't name names but he knows who he is too.)

(Constable Pete: :p)

Thank you, Paul.

Excellent again Brian. I like the contrast between the intent activity of the one person and the vacant stare of the other, both with bags. And there there are the mirrored ladies in the background. There is clearly some mystical choreographer at work here.

(and note that no mention was made of verticality nor the odd mote of dust! ;) )

No mention, eh...? What do you call the above?:p

You can say that again! ;)

Actually the site was giving me a lot of trouble all day yesterday. It was loading v e r y slowly--if at all--and doubling up comments. (Mine above,...and I saw a few others over the past couple of days.) It was happening on two different computers I was using throughout the course of the day. I was going to PM Hamish but at that point the site wouldn't load again. I'll try this morning to alert him.
