Excellent again Brian. Love the lines formed by the utility cables and all the detail. Mind I reckon the guy on the right is going to win the cart jousting once the light changes. The lady on the other side doesn't stand a chance - more agile maybe, but it's all about mass at the end of the day (unless she's been sneaky and filled her shopping cart full of plutonium but I'd have thought that would have shown up on the film)!! ;)

Thanks very much, Pete. Actually, at that moment in time the chap on the right had just pushed that dolly-full of boxes up a significant grade. I am sure he was in no mood to joust even with plutonium-laden female residents of Chinatown. (See below. It's a poor image, shot from the hip as I crossed the road and with no attempt to adjust the exposure, but I thought I'd post it to support my thesis, even though the ascent isn't as obvious in the fotie as it was in real life.)

Lovely images, Brian. I missed these somehow.

The first one I really, really like.

From the foreground interest of the man & his huge overloaded sack truck, through the lovely open space to the detail of the lots of busy people going about their day, against a great backdrop of the lovely angles of the american building that are set off so well with the power cables following there form. superb!

The wide 28mm lens seems to be a lovely choice for these images. Hmm... that would be about 18mm on my crop...

Thanks very much, Alfie. Really appreciate the comments. It's always nice to read what people see in an image. As to the 28mm, it is a good choice I think for street shooting. You get a lot in, and often people won't have a clue they are in your frame when they see you point the camera. Thanks again, Alfie.
