I wish traffic lights didn't exist. But they do. So I wish all traffic lights were always green for me. But they're not.

Bored out of my head at a traffic light a year or two ago I snapped a picture of a person crossing the road in front of me. That gave me something to do at traffic lights. Before I knew it I had a small collection of images of people crossing the road in front of me.

I've never posted any of the images before now because I was always dissatisfied by what I had. Most of the pictures are rubbish to be honest. But looking back at them recently I noted a few that held my interest for a moment so I thought I would post some.

Here are the first two. These I shot at an intersection in Long Beach, California. I shot these images with my Olympus XA3. I didn't note the film and I can't remember now what it was.

Definite promise of a good series. I like the fact that they are blurred somewhat. You need about a hundred of them, then have a show somewhere. Or even make a video slideshow with music.

Like these Brian , liking the split between the blur and the upper part, the sticky up bits. I am of course too young and cannot comment on the pop musac you mention ;)

I don't know why I like them. I don't know why I say so, but I obviously do. I like the first one moore, maybe it reminds me of a time in your state on sunny days:D

But what a super project this has turned into, Brian. Keep going please. Taken alone they are of mixed value but together they become so much more. These two partial silhouettes have have a different feel from the next two and have a sense of summer heat to them.

Thanks you, Pete. Appreciated.
