Looks like an interesting location for a photo shoot. Lots of rocks and an undulating shoreline with plenty of distant objects of interest. Including the rocks in the foreground was a good idea. I might have zoomed in some (if you had a zoom lens?) to put the rocks a little lower in the image and remove some of the sky.
This place is called Inspiration Lake which located in Hong Kong. The weather was franking hot when I was there, however you could see the sky was super nice really, hardly see such a blue sky in Hong Kong this year due lots of rain in here latelyI thought that might be the case. I sure like the colorful location. Where is it?
Well, this is a very good place to get rid from the city during weekends as Hong Kong is a tiny place with lots of building around. Good for picnic on the green field and to chill outInspiration Lake, eh? An apt name for a beautiful place.
Thanks Pete. This photo was from the lens directlyWow, now that is blue Aldous. An I like the composition. Did you add the vignette or was that from the lens? Either way, it works well with the image. It adds to the intensity.
Nice effect.
I have a couple of Voigtlander lenses and they too verge more to the the blue than Leica and Zeiss.
thanks for your information Pete. Which Voigtlander lenses do u have? The couple I have do seem to, yes.
I have a 35mm Color Skopar (LTM), 28mm Ultron (LTM), 35mm f/1.2 Nokton, 75mm f/2.5 (LTM) and the 12mm Super Heliar. I also have a 25mm f/0.95 in MFT for use on a video camera. Hmm, OK, more than a couple then!
