Synchronised Running.

Some running shots have a very nice symmetry. This is about half a frame in area, of Lizzie my daughter running with John, a clubmate during a training session. Runners often get into sync with one another in training, especially if they have similar stride lengths. Otherwise it's only chance.

This is the very next shot.
The goalpost hasn't suddenly appeared but I cloned it out in the first!

Before someone asks, the spots in the photos are raindrops.

Very in sync they are indeed.
Great shooting Garry, was it raining when you took this shot? :)

I was going to mention the rain...
It adds atmosphere I think!
It's funny, te synchronisation in the first almost makes it look like some sort of dance
The backlighting works perfectly too ...
I'd never have thought I'd find photos of people running interesting... I think it's the facial expressions you catch as much as anything else!
They are different in these shots to the individual running ones ...
People running together but not competing seem to show companionship whereas the individual shots or ones where they are competing seem to show more determination ... Definitely interesting seeing them all!

I think its the slight angle of their bodies in the first shot that makes the image that bit more dynamic.
Great pictures, though...
