I don't think you could have staged this better, there is so much going on, lots of points of interest but you have fallen for the wonky and although I do like wonky, this I want straight :D now whats going on with my mind?? Don't answer that :D

It's actually on a hill. The Tabac and the Kebap stall are straight / vertical. But the illusion of the sloping 'horizon' is made more so because of the lean of the tree trunk. If you level the road it all really looks on the pisss.

This was taken on Peter Jorden Strasse. There is not much else around other than the park behind me (where Puff is on hos holidays), the hotel (off to the left) and the odd small restaurant. It's all big houses and diplomatic stuff as well as some buildings associated with the university of agriculture. I guess that's why the 2 kiosks do so well. There's a bus stop right outside them.

You're right, I should have cut and pasted the description from another post, it's a typo! It's the Summilux. I was lucky enough to get my hands on the latest version. They are, like many of the desirable lenses, in short supply and I just happened to phone Robert White up just as one came into stock. It's the lens on the MP in this post:

Prior to getting it I tended to use the Voightländer 35/1.2 as my standard lens but the contrast and edge sharpness of the Summilux is superior and it is lighter and more compact too.

I missed this one ...
It's an odd one this... It's quite dark so you don't notice everything that's going on straight away ...
But give it a minute and all of a sudden it becomes quite a busy photo
My only negative ... If you could call it a negative? Is that's it's not black and white... For me that would work better! But I think I'm stuck in black and white mode at the mo?!
I think black and white would help draw the eye to all the different events .. The bus, the dog walker, the people getting/eating food(?) ... Lots of little story's that work by them selves to create an interesting whole ... There is a lot here in a image that at first glance could be easily skipped past somehow ... Odd shot I think... But I really like it!

I don't know what "Rollover" is, but I like this picture. I think maybe you photographed a detail of the Tabak kiosk a while ago Pete,...or was that a different Tabak kiosk? Anyway, as someone observed, lots going on in this picture. I don't see any blur. Thought there might have been at a 30th. Interesting shot, Pete.

Rollover as in the lotto wasn't won and the sign on the left says the prize this week is bigger as a result: yes it's the same Tabak. It was actually shot while walking (slightest pause - I didn't want to get run over!) and I'd hoped to get a bit of movement on the figure going into the kiosk but he was going away from me. There is a tiny bit on the lady's leg. As you know, you can usually go 1 or 2 'stops' slower with a RF than an SLR and I often shoot at 1/30 or 1/15 with 35 - 50mm lenses.
