Taken with a mobile phone - who needs an (expensive) digital SLR these days?

While my wife had an eye operation in hospital a few years ago, I could either wait several hours with all the tension that entails or go outside and find some relaxation with - for the first time in my life - a simple mobile phone used as a camera! Photo is mirrored afterwards, horizontally and vertically. The saturated colors are as they were, no special editing is done.

Wonderfully effective, Gerard. Did you envisage it mirrored like this when you took it?
As they say, the best camera is the one with you. Interesting modifications to the original image. I am also wondering when you envisioned the final image.
The position of this building is right behind the hospital and the view of the structure was quite limited, so I already knew that I had to do something with the cropping of the lower part of the photo.
In looking for a good cropping I messed around a bit and then I mirrored the building horizontally and at the same time figured out that I also had to mirror it vertically to actually get a weird effect.
