Takumar 200mm f4 lens with Pentax 6x7

First outing for this lens on my Pentax 6x7, before heading for a CLA. Quite impressed.

It has a good reputation and you have shown its strengths there as it is sharp at wide apertures with a shallow DoF. In some ways it is similar to the Zeiss 250 mm f1:4 which is sharpest at full aperture and so a super lens for portraits. I guess the Takumar had a similar remit.

Really do love the first and the last again with a distinct Blakemore feel. There is truly something special about how 6X7 makes the image appear. It adds so much quality to an image. A quality I feel is very lacking from digital. Love 'em Rob.
