Test shots

Tried my new camera out. shots around the house seeing as the weather has not been too co-operative.
Using the 18-55 mm Kit lens. I shot them all on auto to see what the camera selected. All but one suggested ISO3200. Plenty of light coming in 4 windows in the room. Hmmm>

What ISO does the 40D suggest? It may be worth comparing them.

Sorry Chris, we have been busy, preparing the house for our son coming over for a visit from the UK.

I hadn't considered comparing it to the 40D. I did get out today to really put it through the test. Using all but the 500M/M. I did not want to lug around too much equipment. Just uploading them to the computer tonight. Will post some samples soon.
