We do a woodland walk pretty much every day, Dave. I know you are a bit of a tree man yourself. There’s a real mixture at the moment between those that are in bud, and those that still look completely dead. Let’s hope they’re not!

Indeed. I'm an early riser, and consequently fall asleep in the afternoon for half an hour. But the sound rises around here are worth getting up early for.
