Wow! What is it? It reminds me a little of our red-legged partridges - we have up to 40 in our garden sometimes. Only they're not blue of course

Sorry Zooey, I can't help you. I spottet this little one up in the north eastern corner of California. I never saw it before nor later. Maybe someone in the USA can help.

Well it is either a very blue bird or it was sleeping on the fence at the wrong time! Nicely spotted Ivar.
