Bridge of Sighs. I like that. But this one has probably exhaled its last!

The original Bridge Of Sighs, you probably know, is in Venice. It's a covered bridge, like this one, and with a window. Prisoners were led to their execution along this bridge, and got one last glimpse of freedom before the end came. Hence the sighs.
