I never think of London as having catacombs but why not of course. I like the presentation you have used Tom and the way it joins the images. You could even have used more texture or a discontinuous tone to blend them more. You can almost feel the damp and murk.
We will soon have someone working with us who is studying ossuaries - hopefully some visits will come out of that.
I was pretty well out of my depth when trying to conjure up some exposure settings for these and also trying to avoid my own shadow.. The place, as you can imagine, was very poorly light. I dislike flash but used it economically here. It helped that I shot in RAW so I was able to salvage some details from the blacker areas.
Pete could you explain what exactly you mean by discontinuous tone in this case please. I'm not sure I understand.
