Critique Welcomed The labourer

It is a strong composition as Lesley suggests. I might be tempted to crop out the head lower right. Its a little distracting, but not too much. On the other hand, I would not want to ruin the composition if cutting that fellow's head off threatened to do so.

I guess you took the shot around mid day, hence the short shadow.

Nice shot, Safira.

What Brian said. Very nice shot but better without the head. Agree re cloning if you can make it work.

Very interesting perspective on the subject.

Hi Safira.

I agree with the others that the composition & perspective are very nice indeed! The tones are great, I always seem to like the colours from shots in India! It must be the light, but tonal range always seems so rich & full, even here with the neutral tones it has that depth. Great image!

I'd love a trip to India to shoot some street stuff.

I agree with the above comments regarding cloning the head out bottom right (as an experiment as it may not improve the composition) but the real point of human interest is the man working and we can't see much detail in his face. I wonder if you wouldn't do better to make the face almost black so there's no hint of detail? Of course this may be my monitor denying me the detail!
