This is the area I was born and grew up in. Lost, lonely, silent and mystical (the area not me). Strange mists and salt marshes where contraband would be brought ashore in the darkness of night. Old deserted airfields where illegal substances would be landed by planes that would disappear into the same mists.
Flat expanses of nothing ending in the water of a large estuary. Some see the romance, some don't.
