The Old Mill at Greywell

Just for a bit of contrast, this is the wheel of the 17th Century mill on the Whitewater at Greywell shot a couple of weeks ago.

That last shot is great, It has your trademark look about it.

Thanks Vic. I shot them at the same time as Behind the Church but thought them a bit uninteresting except for the detail of the wheel. The light was very soft as it had just started raining and I will probably reprocess the second one above as I originally intended it to be monochrome and a square crop. I only really posted them as a contrast to the New Mill.
 
yeah the light looks great in the last one. Interesting way you have orientated it too.

Have you tweaked the clarity down on these?
Have you applied selective adjustments on the wood on the right hand side of the hub(?)?
