Yes and my wife found them scary and did not want to wait for me to take pictures and wait for people to come along. A good one you got there I think.

Oh, they're not scary places. I've ever seen any problems in them. Great for light and shadows.

That is an amazing spot, specially for photography, first of I thought it was a black border at the top. It captured me when I realise it was not. The sort of place Dan plays at at night . Superb Rob.

Thanks, Julian. I do like that black band at the top. The image wouldn't work without it, I think.

I've been saving this and the other two from that day. Not only great light and tones but the interest of the figure and it could so easily be a shot from a much earlier time. I also like the use of the black space at the top (although maybe a tiny bit too much - maybe). Wonderful stuff.

Thought a lot about the top part and do like the slight oddness especially it being there as a part of the passage. Puts a twist, makes you have to wonder a while with it's awkwardness.

Even better Rob I suspect I'd not come to a conclusion one way or the other, which would be a draw of intrigue to keep revisiting and in the attempt to find that conclusion. I think a lot of good work sits in that place and therefore draws the attention by being divisive and that is a large part of its strength. There is no doubt within that an excellent image needs to exist which here it does . .
