The Power Of Higgs

Yes, I could. But I don't think a Provost (mayor) of the city council in the 19th century merits the connection with a great theoretical physicist...

I think Prof Higgs must live quite near me, as I see him at least once a week. Actually, I feel bad about photographing him in such a sureptitious way.

I like the great timing on this; you either judged it perfectly or it was an accident:), not that it matters.
Rob you should set yourself a challenge; a shot of the Prof. with a more recognizable profile., especially if you see him around so often. Pete's idea of bringing the statue a bit more into the picture is a good one, because it looks as though he may well be looking down towards the spot where the Prof is standing. It would give the image a comical and interesting dimension.

I wonder if the three females in the shot know who he is, or have any inkling about the "God Particle"...

...not that I'm sexist in any way...if it had been three blokes I would still have asked...:-)

He probably judged it perfectly Tom. There is never an accident, merely an incident. A good idea to even improve upon this good one Rob by following the two gentlemens propositions. I on the other hand being daft again would stand on the other side and try to get only the statue and the professor, was he?;)But who am I to say. Neither of us see the conditions here. Well done Rob.
