Works well. It's a complex image, in terms of lines and shadows, but works well. Eden Project? Would you consider adding a little SPP grain? I ony mention it as it is my latest fad, adding grain all over the shop.

Thanks Rob. I faded with grain briefly a while back, but it does trouble me as false grain somehow always comes across as false grain. At least when I know I've done it. Not sure if I'd recognise it if I did not know, as in when you do it though, then it is ok.
This one's not really working for me Julian. Hard to articulate why but the seed seems to have too much of a monopoly in the frame. The shadow works well with the shapes in the background.

That's ok Tom. It maybe works for me as I know the place and size and therefore project upon it. Very limited space to use the camera therefore not much opportunity to to be different as it is viewed through a small opening. I agree with the monopoly of the seed.
Good take on it Tom and appreciated.
These give some idea of the context and you can get down with the seed or as i did in the first shoot from the window which can be seen in the second.
I like these two very much. Both are unusual and peculiar in a very enjoyable way. I still don't know exactly what I'm looking at; is it some very rare seed or something that is on public display.
Love how you got the person in the little window.
Within the education building, they built this pod which contains this Seed made of granite. It is more an egg with bobbles on it. You can see how large it is compared to the person. You can look from above through the window or walk around it which is where I took this image from.
The last too are a bit easier to understand as there is more context but I do like the first for the dramatic contrast, even though it is a static inanimate object.
I think my favourite is the first here and I like the complexity of the lines and shadows. I think the balance works. The second is quite Daliesque I think. I like the angles of the last but I'm having trouble withe the lack of definition of the texture on the see itself.

The second strikes me as the best as it kind of pops. Now I'm sure Brian associates my remark with the mention of beer. On the serious side, they are all good in their own way, but a little grey, wouldn't you say? That's what the two last ones diviate from as I see it.
