The Vivitar PN2011 is a 35mm point & shoot that falls into the "toy camera" category. I got my first compliments of the Film Photography Podcast. (http://filmphotographyproject.com/podcast). It was one of their monthly "giveaways."
The PN2011's primary feature is it's "panorama" mode. Really this is just a mask that covers a portion of the top and the bottom of the frame, thus giving the illusion of a panorama image. It's just a gimmick.
I shot mine conventionally for a while, then I flipped the lens around and this opened a whole new dimension of photography for me. Later I got a second PN2011, and that one I made into a pinhole camera. It's a very modify-able camera.
I wrote a blog article about the Vivitar PN2011 for the Film Photography Project website a couple of months ago and thought I'd share it.
