Wow, just wow. The contrast between the relatively common human and the 'apparition' is startling! And not apparent that it's a double exposure until much closer examination.

Thanks Stevenson, I am very pleased with this one. It took a few tries before I had something I was happy with and, for this one, I think I captured the image I had in mind.

Not only do they have eyes, they have a nose and mouth. Looks like you have landed on some exposure values that work!

As for me, I'll just overlay a transparent layer in post...

That is brilliant! If Stevenson hadn't mentioned it I do not think I would have noticed the double-exposure.

Thanks Brian. All my double exposures until recently have been with film but the opportunity to do it with a modern digital camera gives me a lot more control over the process. It's fascinating to have three different method of overlaying the exposures and of course, film never gave me the option to review and reshoot if necessary.
