And he's back! A cracking set and I like the little hints of colour that have entered some of the shots. I really like the stark, fine texture of The Trees but my favourites are the The Island and The Boy. The gull balances it so well and the apparent relationship between the two. The sombre mood suits them very well I think.

Yes, back. Not sure how long for, but I enjoyed my day out yesterday. The weather has been so awful, and not in a photographically good way!

Processed at Boots, hence the hint of colour here and there, which I actually don't mind so much.

Strangely enough, the way I am made, I like the first one a lot. I'll leave the trees alone and as I view what I gather is a small farm, it really takes me back to Scotland which we like a lot. The island is definitely that, and it makes me curious albeit the boy has turned his back to it. He probably has explored it already. A good series Rob. And not to mock you in any way, wouldn't dream of that , but there is no bad weather, just bad outfit my man. Cheers.

Thanks, Brian. It can't be an island if it's joined to the mainland, I suspect. But we still call it the island. But twice a day the water covers the path, and it becomes an island again.
