Thought I'd post this before I forgot about it.
The notion of making images in the style of someone else's work has been of interest to me for a while. However I came up with this theme idea after Pete misidentified (@Pete Askew ) one of my recent images as being from my Gerhard Richter period, when in fact it wasn't.
Here are the rules I would propose:
1. Make a picture that reminds people of the work of another photographer or painter.
2. Can be made with a digital camera or on film.
3. Must show your picture as well as a representative example of the artist whom you are trying to emulate.
If nobody likes this idea I will gladly set it aside in favor of someone else's.
