Three Version Two Poles

The fish at Mevagissey are landed onto the quay, most often at, what is known as the co-op run by the fisherman. A fridge and ice machine , scales, boxes and pallets, a simple set up but needed. It can be a busy spot but this time it was an empty space for the best part of the time there, this is when I go looking for abstract shots, which I probably enjoy the most of all in my photography. I get lost in what I am doing, which is brilliant .Along with getting the shots, as luck had it at the end of my half hour there, a boat did land scallops, they had a nice size Dover sole and a Megrim, which the skipper put into a bag and I dined well the next day :)

These are very nice Julian, especially the last two.

I'd never heard of a Megrim. Are they like Sole to eat?
Thanks Pete
Pete they are very different. Megrin is a very scraggly looking fish, mostly served whole on a plate and prone to drying out very quick if over cooked, even slightly.
I would put it low down in my food cupboard for taste. Dover on the other hand as you know is superb, the best I estimate of the soles as the price reflects.
