Thank you Pete. Sometimes when I sit there getting this type of shot, not being an avid wildlife shooter. I wonder what I can do. Yet sometimes a shot comes up that has similar qualities regardless of subject. I guess that is what I am after rather than just a wildlife shot per se.

I understand what you mean. That is a beautifully detailed shot and the 'pose' is perfect but I think it is the combination of the feathers and the blue background that does it for me.

It has also for me that detail but softness about it. The ef400 f5.6 is a good lens for that.

Thanks Keith. Not being a wild life photographer I suspect they would be different. I just like the challenge and an hour sitting watching the birds.

I really like your way of photographing these tits and particularly like the first ones posture. It's not really about bird photgraphy albeit in all its splender, but the fun and beauty which is being conveyed to us here. Humbly yours.
