The City of Angels is fortunate to have one of the largest municipal parks in the world, Griffith Park. (I read somewhere that Griffith Park is the largest municipal park in the world which is completely surround by the city which owns it.) But I digress ... A section of Griffith Park, 'Travel Town', is set aside for trains. Trains of all types are parked and available for hands-on inspection by visitors. During one of my visits to Travel Town, I discovered a warehouse where trains were under refurbishment. Below are my photos of selective repair areas.

The first two images are in visual dialogue, evoking abstract landscapes. The first, in shades of blue with golden veins, conveys serenity and lightness. The second, vibrant in orange and black, radiates tension and emotional strength.

Both seem to invite the viewer into their textures – the first with reflective calm, the second with dramatic energy. I felt you aimed to highlight singular marks turned into visual poetry, using framing that reveals suspended worlds.

Together, the first two work as a pair of complementary contrasts: serene tranquillity and expressive tension.
The third and fourth... I’m not sure what to say.
Gary, this series is interesting, but I feel the last one, with the bus, doesn't quite fit with the others; the first two are my favourites.

Antonio, the fourth photo I saw as a collection of celestial bodies ... the third I was going for the sharp edges and colors but I also agree that both images are much weaker than the first two. Now that you're here Antonio ... I have to increase my use of the delete button -.
