Tree in Motion II

Another from this evening. Although I had planned for them to be a monochrome series, I liked the delicate fresh green of the originals. Apart from a small increase in clarity and a crop of about 10% plus a border, these are straight out of the back via LR.

Hasselblad 503CW + Zeiss Sonnar 180mm f1:4 onto a PhaseOne P45 back. ISO 100, 1/15s at f16. Minimal PP in LR + border in Nik ColorFX 4.

I agree. As the colour of the new leaves is very delicate, I used a blue 'filter' in SilverFX that pushed the contrast up and that took something away I think. I will play with the conversion a bit more I think to retain some more of the delicacy.

I was playing a bit more with this and have got a more delicate mono conversion that works well I think but I still like the colours. So I went down a split tone route and also lightened the image. Not quite what you were thinking though I don't think Hamish. But closer to the atmosphere at the time.

Do avoid catching those delicate tree on fire, won't you Dan? ;)

Lovely image, Pete. Delicate is right. Hard to decide between the two. I like the relative paleness of the green in the first, so maybe that one for me.

Both are very nice, Pete. I think it's nicer with green colour. :)
For 1/15s, it was quite windy? Was it handheld? Steady or with some movement?
