Trying out my Spotmatic 1000

I recently purchased this Spotmatic SP1000 off Ebay for a stupidly cheap price, and added another bargain "Auto Flex" 50mm lens (anybody know anything about these?) This combination is fast becoming a favourite; I just love the quality of the Pentax, and have wanted one for years. I am surprised at the quality of the lens too. I did fancy a K1000 but might spend the money on some M42 lenses for this instead. Here is a selection of shots taken on Fuji 200ASA "Asda's best" print film. Usual Max Spielman Dev and disc.

Nice, I was looking at a spotmatic as well looks like you have a good useable combo there, what are the specs on the lens?

Also check out poundland for some cheap film as well, my local one has some Agfa vista plus stuff but I think some others have Kodak film.

Hi David
It is a 50mm 1:2.8 Auto Flex (not "reflex" as I put in original post :) ) I know little about these lenses, though it has been suggested that they were manufactured by Chinon. I have picked two up from Ebay for a very low price, and have got my eye on a 28mm one. I really like the Spotmatic and can see that it is going to get used a lot.

Here's one:
