Tulips (...vivid...)

My partner bought some tulips last night, so I took the advantage of having a floral photo session this morning. This time I used a standard Canon 50mm f/1.8 lens, I so love the vivd colours!

Canon 5D MkI - EF 12mm MkII extension tube - handheld at f/2.8 - jpeg.

Normally I dislike over-pumped colours but I like these. In the first the way the in focus petal tops frame the stigma and stamen makes a nice focal point.
