Typhoon Sunset...

A break from the B&W...

Dropped in by Lossiemouth today after a stroll around Elgin to try out my new ND Grad but the light wasn't all that good.

However...this "kite" took off from the nearby RAF base and was gone in seconds....literally....reminiscent of the old English Electric Lightings that used to fly out of Leuchars in Fife.

Cheers Rob....I heard it rumble down the runway and had to hastily swap the 28mm for the 135mm and, like I say, it vanished VERY quickly...maybe off "hunting bear"...

I can't say very much about the picture since there is not much in it. But what's in it intrigues me and I'm glad you chose these colours Douglas, less is more and it's got nothing to do with a certain Brian.:D

Thanks Ivar...what kinda spoke to me was the huge big, empty, quiet sky, and this tiny "dart" making the ground vibrate as it took off into the heavens....

Douglas, this is a great photo. I really enjoy the serene feeling the composition gives me when I look at it.
