And number 6 is rather beautiful and very nicely photographed I think.

I wish I had stuck with the landscape. There was a good sized rattlesnake under that clump of cactus. I didn't realize it until I was taking that one close up of the yellow flower........ In fairness, it did give me a warning rattle.

I've always enjoyed cactus flowers, at least partly because of the contrast between the odd shapes of the cacti, and the beauty of their flowers. So thanks for these cactus shots, especially since you fought off the rattler to secure them.

i like 2 and 3, beautiful little flowers. 4-6 is a unique flower, but pretty in it's own right. i also like the cactus shots, glad you nor any of the canine crew got hurt. 11 is my favorite of the bunch, beautiful, sharp details and i love the bright green.
