This is one of the large bridges crossing the river in Riga, Latvia. It is getting warmer but the river is still frozen and there is plenty of snow on the floor. It was fairly exposed on the bridge and river bank and there was a bleak feel. I tried to capture that sense in this set. Hopefully I have and hopefully the frozen hands were worth it.

Thank you. I have been trying out various PPs and for ages played around with glamour glows and soft focus using NIK Colour FX. They sort of worked but I could never get quite what I wanted. I found that if I turn down the Clarity in LR and then over sharpen slightly I get some general fuzziness but with the smaller details poking through the haze.

On the first, I like the framing of frozen Riga by the stairway line, riverside lines, the bridge line, Paul. Frozen river framed by concrete infrastructure gives that cold urban feel. Second has complimenting perspective three buildings with a seemingly independent perspective of the the tower of the bridge and the bridge itself. Large broken ice planks give a good texture and feeling to the frame. :)
