Blimey those out of focus elements are superb. And I love the colour rendering, especially in the last shot. I like the third shot very much too especially the way you have chosen to exclude the flower. Mind, I might be tempted to lose a touch from the top. Super set again though.

Thanks Pete, yes you may be right and a bit from the top could improve that shot. It shocked me a bit coming back to these on my first camera.(digital) I've been using the crop sensors of the m4/3 and APSc a lot over the past year or more, I think the Full frame will be out a bit more often,
I am missing the nice blur one does get, from time to time.

the first one took me a while to figure out what was going on. not sure if it's too early or maybe i had too much to drink last night.. the last three were easier. i wish there was a little bit more room at the bottom of the last, but i think that one is my favorite of the set. not sure, it's a close tie between that one and the third..

I like these very much Julian and I think of paintings when I look at them as they seem to have the same evocation that a painting has. Love the almost violent orange contrasting with the softer tones on the first two. The last two although I like them I find myself preferring the third having the rectangle of carpet at the bottom cropped out and on the last the right hand side of the table edge cropped.
