Originally, I wanted to shoot it in sunlight but by the time I got the camera, tripod and focus rail out I'd lost the afternoon sun. The light background of the label is somewhat iridescent which I didn't manage to capture, and the embossing of the name and shield is barely captured in this 13-image stack.
Turned out to be a pleasing port to accompany some really creamy bleu cheese.
