I wasn't very happy with these and so have re-worked them. I'm still not 100% and may go back to the colour versions - or maybe they just don't work in general. Not sure.

Interesting series, Pete. For me the last one works best. It gives greater presence to the figure, and (again, for me) this is what may be lacking in the others.

Thanks, Brian. Yes, I see what you mean. They are all taken from much the same distance (although that one does seem to be closer) but the alcoves (and their contents) differ in size quite a bit. Only a few were colourful and that is why I planned to render them in B&W.
