The 89 Gothic Stalls, richly decorated with hundreds of statuettes, busts, canopies, tracery and reliefs, were carved from oak between 1469 and 1474 by Jörg Syrlin the Elder in cooperation with the sculptor Michel Erhart. They depict distinguished men and women of antiquity. They are a masterpiece of woodcraft.

So vivid even today that they give one goose bumps.
