Cheers, folks. I wish I'd clicked when the umbrella was in the centre of the picture, to balance the two high points, left and right. But it's okay.

Yes, Dave, it's like shooting fish in a barrel here. If you can't take a half decent image in Edinburgh, you've got a problem. The downside is in trying not to shoot a tourist image...

I know what you mean. For every image I share here I take 10 or 12 more that look like tourist pics....

Superb and I think the placing is just right. It balances perfectly and being slightly to the left of centre works with the blur.

It works very well Rob. I suspect it would convert well to B&W too though I like the splash of muted colour from the brolly complementing the wet stone of the buildings.

It must have been a nice day as the umbrella has not inverted from the breeze!
