Nipped out yesterday to visit a place I last went to many moons ago, when I say nipped out, a seven hour journey there and back. Rewarded with some epic light and clearing skies. The Lake District at its best.
Shame on the dirty tramps that left their barbecue tray and rubbish by the side of the lake

Dan, I have seen the same thing, the first time I went up the pass was in my dads Austin Maxi, we met a caravan coming down, could not believe they did it, as its so easy to fly off the road.

I like my images to have a certain feel about them, I find landscape at its best when it feels threatening and moody, as someone in the gallery quoted the other day 'very brontesque'. However I do have some high key images, Hopefully off to Eigg in a few weeks, so might do some lighter work

Great set Nick. I feel the third is a little too dark. The Lakes is a great location. Also the Fuji does seem to work well in B&W.
