Wemyss Bay Railway Station

Classic Victorian station architecture. The wide angle shows it off very well. The lines and lighting in the first one are just beautiful, I am reminded of a flower opening up to the sun. Great set.

It's a beautiful structure, Dave. As you walk through the entrance, your mind flits through the possibilities of what it is being presented with...tropical gardens?...funfair ride?...railway station...? They all seem plausible!
Someone asked me if the first image had been taken with a fish-eye and I said that a fish-eye would have reduced the effect and straightened the whole thing out!

Thank Pete. It's well worth a visit if you ever get the chance. We had a few days on the Isle of Bute and the station is at the ferry landing, so we spent a while in there when waiting for our sailing.

Just seen these, Chris. Superb set! An amazing building, beautifully rendered here.
Btw did you shoot at box speed? I’ve only ever used the 120 version of this film and didn’t have a great deal of luck with it. These images, though, certainly show what it’s capable of.

Thanks a lot for the comment Ralph - it really is appreciated.
I have shot quite a bit of Foma 200 - three x 30m rolls, I think - and that gave me plenty of opportunity to fiddle with things. It has always done best for me when I have shot it at 160, as I did here. 125 is quite nice too, though.
