Wet Salisbury, 5 rivers.

The Rivers Nadder , Ebble, Wylye and Bourne all have their confluences with the Avon at or very close to Salisbury.

I live just over half a mile to the South of the city centre, close to where the Nadder splits in to two, and flows eastward either side of the famous water meadows to join the Avon just outside the Cathedral Close. The meadows have a flock of sheep on them right now and certainly create quite a scene for tourists searching for the viewpoint Constable used in his famous painting of the Cathedral.

This photo though is on the Avon itself, perhaps another half mile further North.
