i know one of our members considers them jewellery, but i love it for it creating images like this
In my books its the most versatile lens i have, it might not be perfectly sharp and beatable in terms of sharpness and contrast by cheaper alternatives ... but i just love the feel of the images it takes! and the fact i can leave it on my d3 and shoot away happy all day every day and not really miss any other lenses!
not to mention being awesome in low light .... this was taken with the light of a single candle!
