White-faced Heron on the Snowy River

I don't do much bird photography, but do enjoy it when I (a) am in the mood and (b) get the opportunity. :)
This was yesterday. It was a bit of an experiment, as it was the first time I adapted my 70-200 f2.8 Tamron to my Olympus EM5ii.
400mm equiv. but manual focus and questionable handling! Quite sharp though.
Raw image processed in darktable and cropped slightly.

Edit: corrected the name in the title - got it wrong!

both damn fine shots, Steve. I like both compositions very much, but prefer the second image the most as the blue in the highest in the first distracts a bit I think.
