winds and power, a doom maybe?

Nice image. There's some dispute happening in my area at present about a proposed wind farm... I'm against it in many ways, however it was pointed out to me (by someone I respect and trust a great deal) that 'the hills will still be there long after the turbines are long gone'. Which I find a cheering thought.

He or she is probably right. but in the meantime, gear oil leaks from the turbines, and Bisphenol A is emitted from their blades while passing wild prey birds end their lives. When they finally have to go down, they are chopped up and dug down as they are not recyclable. What it all does to the groundwater is another question and finally, they tend to give about 30% energy due to wind failure at times. I could say that even nature takes a toll while these monster masts are set up. Sorry for the intrusion on my part regarding wind turbines.

I wouldn't dispute any of that - and wasn't aware of the issue with BPA... Anyway. sorry for pulling off topic!
